Did You Know?

·        cognition refers to the process of knowing and undarsting the environment around us.

·        cognitive Devlopment,therefore,is the development of those basic skills which help us in getting to know the environment.

·        Newborn infants also have some basic compitencies.They are able to see nearby objects,follow movements are react to test and tuch.

·        Children’s thinking different in significant ways from adult thinking.Their thought processes keep on getting modified as they grow.

·        Children between the ages of three and six years are at a stage of cognitive development when their thinking is governed by their perception.what they see before them.For example ,if five matchsticks are placed close together and another five matchsticks are placed apart the child is that stage will say that the one placed apart are more.
