• Readind is a stage when children are maturationally ready to learn something without intellectual or emotional stress and when they can feel the satisfaction of having achieved that learn.
• Reading and writing readiness refers to the ability of a child to profit from any reading and writing instruction.
• while some amount of visual and auditory discrimination activities are conducted with children right though,there should be more systematic focous on soecific activities for reading and writing readiness by the time the children are four-and-a-half to five years and ready for these activities.                        Some Suggested activities:-                                                           3-4 years...
  Let the children sit in a semi circle.Ask them to close their eyes and listen to the different sound in the enviroment.After a while ask them to open their eyes and describe the sound that they heard.
  
  Children can learn to recite different rhymes involving animals sound.
  
  Take little tins or boxes and fill them with sand,pebbless,grains,marbles,etc.to make sound boxes.Let there be two tins of each kind,that is,two tins filled with sand,two with pebbles,two with grains etc.Ask the children to match the tins on the basis of sound.
